Saturday Update

"SO STRONG"

The liver biopsy was performed yesterday (friday). We will see preliminary results today, and more detailed info throughout the week. The proceedure went well with minimal bleeding. We are hoping to get closer to some answers as we see the results.

We were also finally able to feed Eli again today with some low protein food.
I am sure he loved having something in his tummy again.

Please continue to pray for him, as we continue to test and monitor.
Thank you to everyone for all of your support through all of this.

  3. We are praying earnestly for precious little Eli and all of you. My special verse for this new year is from Isaiah 33:6 and I pass it on to you at this difficult time. "He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure."

  7. We are praying, praying, praying! I so wish I could be closer to you guys. I want to be there to bring you cold washcloths and remind you to drink water! I will just have to send you my love from here. Thank you for keeping us posted on how little E is doing. What a trooper. We are proud of you too. How blessed Eli is to have such dedicated, diligent, and loving parents. I know he loves you too! As I lean on the Lord and plead for Him to heal Elijah I keep remembering this verse:
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
How amazing that we can approach God with confidence, knowing that He loves us as His own children. (And you learn how much love that is once you have a child of your own don't you!!) And that He promises mercy, grace, and provision in our time of greatest need. I am praying right now that God will give you the peace that comes with that promise from God! If you need to talk, please call anytime!!! I love you!
